The ALIS team has started full-scale activities by CMAC members in Prusat Province, Cambodia. On the morning of July 14, 2022, a female member discovered the antipersonnel landmine PMN-2 at ALIS.
Prof. Sato met with CMAC secretary, Heng Ratana at CMAC Headquarters in Phnom Penh and signed a MoU to continue conducting integration trials of ALIS landmine detection system within CMAC demining operations in the minefield.
Our CTO, Professor Motoyuki Sato of Tohoku University, provided guidance on the basic operation of ALIS to eight team leaders of the demining team of the Federation of Bosnia and Hertzegovina on the web.
