“GB-SAR Technology”
Ground-based Synthetic Aperture Radar (GB-SAR) is an observation method for monitoring landslides and volcanic land surface displacement from a safe distance. GB-SAR can detect areas of large movement and measure their speed by measuring the change in phase difference for each pixel of the area irradiated by the radar, which is resolved in an areal manner.
No prism installation is required in the area to be monitored, and measurement of an area up to 4 km away is possible. The measured wide-area 3D data can be visualized in real time.
