To the 16-member Colombian Army Humanitarian Demining Team,
A training session on the operation of ALIS was held.
Colombia is suffered from a large number of improvised explosive devices buried by guerrillas and is removing them. ALIS’s radar function is expected to play an active role in detecting explosives that use almost no metal.
